Heather Sandhu graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Masters in Physical Therapy Program in 2015. Heather has a keen interest in orthopaedics, sports injuries, and rehabilitation through exercise. Prior to completing her masters degree, she completed a Bachelor of Biochemistry at the University of Winnipeg in 2011.
Heather’s approach to treatment includes hands-on joint mobilizations, myofascial release and exercise prescription to promote recovery and prevent re-injury. She also includes patient education as a core component of her treatment approach. Heather believes in lifelong learning and has completed the Level 1 Orthopaedic certification, McKenzie Course, and has additional training in acupuncture and TMJ treatment.
Heather moved to Calgary in 2023 with her husband, toddler and dog, and is excited to support the community in achieving a healthy and active lifestyle.
