Meet Alexander Durbeniuk
Hey there! I’ve spent more than two decades playing intense hockey. Back in high school, I was part of the NWCAA quadrant team, and then I moved on to play junior hockey in British Columbia for three years. My journey eventually took me to Oklahoma, where I played while chasing my higher education dreams.
During all those years on the ice, I discovered just how important physiotherapy is for competitive athletes like us. I’ve been lucky enough to learn from some amazing mentors along the way. My college team’s physiotherapist let me in on the secrets behind sport-specific injuries and the best ways to bounce back. Plus, I got to work with some top-notch strength and conditioning coaches during off-season training and internships, which helped me understand how to build strength and fine-tune skills for my sport.
Thanks to my experiences and my education at the University of Alberta, I’ve developed a unique approach to helping top-level athletes like you. I’m all about finding out what’s going on, coming up with a game plan, and getting you back in action ASAP.
So, if you’re trying to kick that pesky knee pain to the curb or improve your skating stride with a better range of motion, I’ve got your back. Let’s work together to create a plan that’ll help you succeed and get you back on the ice, where you belong!
