Hey there! I’ve spent more than two decades playing intense hockey. Back in high school, I was part of the NWCAA quadrant team, and then I moved on to play junior hockey in British Columbia for three years. My journey eventually took me to Oklahoma, where I played while chasing my higher education dreams.

During all those years on the ice, I discovered just how important physiotherapy is for competitive athletes like us. I’ve been lucky enough to learn from some amazing mentors along the way. My college team’s physiotherapist let me in on the secrets behind sport-specific injuries and the best ways to bounce back. Plus, I got to work with some top-notch strength and conditioning coaches during off-season training and internships, which helped me understand how to build strength and fine-tune skills for my sport.

Thanks to my experiences and my education at the University of Alberta, I’ve developed a unique approach to helping top-level athletes like you. I’m all about finding out what’s going on, coming up with a game plan, and getting you back in action ASAP.

Hockey Specific Assessments

Personalized Movement-Based Assessments

We’ll create tailor-made assessments that focus on your specific concerns and identify patterns related to hockey. By analyzing your movements and evaluating your strengths and weaknesses, we’ll have your back whether you’re a goalie or a forward. Our goal? Minimize pain and reduce the risk of future injuries.

In-Clinic Interventions

Once we’ve assessed your needs, we’ll team up to address any pain or concerns you might have. Our hands-on interventions are customized based on your unique situation and can include things like soft tissue release, cupping, joint mobilizations, and using the right tools to help you heal.

At-Home Programming

We’ll also develop a program you can follow at home, designed to prevent re-injury and optimize your hockey movements. We’ll include exercises and drills specific to hockey, off-ice sprint work, and other training techniques to keep you in top shape during the off-season.
